The food here is definitely one of the best we've had in a while. We specifically went during Norfolk's restaurant week and we weren't disappointed. The produce was clearly of top-notch quality. the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making the overall experience a great one. The quaint surroundings also added to the charm of the place.
Sadly, the experience was not all that it could be. We had trouble with the accommodation, as the rooms were noisy and the water pipes were dangerously hot.

The pub with six rooms in the building next door is perfect for a weekend trip. It is situated in a lovely location by the river and in close proximity to Castle Acre Castle and Priory. the rooms are clean, tidy, and decorated to a high standard, complete with comfortable beds, soft pillows. the friendly staff provides excellent customer service, including a safe for forgotten items and accommodating breakfasts with delicious choices, such as eggs benedict and a full English.

Serene and secluded location near the main pub, a cool spot, and the restaurant. Plus, it's right by the river. The breakfast spread had lots of tasty options to choose from, and it was included in the stay. 🌿

We had a delightful experience at the pub in Castle Acre. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, including Castle Acre Castle and Priory. The lunch we had at the pub was delicious, with generous portions of salads that left us feeling satisfied. The staff were friendly and even took special care of our dog, giving him a treat. The beer garden was a lovely spot to enjoy the sunny weather. The clean and comfortable bedroom provided a restful night's sleep. Despite a couple of minor issues with the heating and draughty windows, we still found the atmosphere of the pub to be charming. I would highly recommend this pub for a visit in Castle Acre.

Had an amazing Easter break! Perfect location for exploring the area, with easy access to local attractions. the hotel provided fantastic countryside views and free parking. Complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV made it so enjoyable. the staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service and offering local knowledge for fascinating spots to visit. A delicious breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients was especially enjoyable. the hotel offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that we couldn't get enough of.
the bathroom was not up to the standard and was not cleaned properly, and the windows were not closed tightly, making the temperature drop during the night.
